Basic Bridal Hair and Make-up

The aim of the course is to teach students how to conduct a consultation for both bridal hair and makeup, giving tips on the best methods to achieve results. Part 1: This involves a simple demonstration on a model followed by a hands-on practise of pinning hair into the style chosen. Hair pieces will be added to create a number of hairstyles using a backcombing and tonging technique to create the desired height. A model will be provided. Part 2: This section of the course is all about conducting a consultation and providing expert guidance on using a simple application of makeup for a brides wedding day. A college certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course.The course is a practical and active workshop taught through demonstrations and hands-on practice with a model. Leaflets will also be provided to keep for future reference.There is the opportunity for students to enrol on other hair and beauty courses offered within the college; please browse the college website for details.
