The CCN 1 CORE assessment covers areas of gas safety. The qualification is nationally recognised and is a legal requirement for those who work in the gas industry on domestic dwellings. The qualification is gained by direct observation assessment of your gas safety competences, which will take place in our approved centre by a qualified assessor. You will be assessed through theory papers and a series of practical tasks. All technical reference documents are provided by the College. The qualified and experienced assessors will put you at ease, and guide you through the assessment programme.
