Computers - Digital Imaging Photo Workshop

This is a mixed workshop course for digital photography (basic & intermediate) and photo editing and manipulation (basic to more advanced). The course is very practical & hands on and learners will work at their own pace guided by the tutor. The course has a progressive and logical workflow approach and will cover (dependent on learner level) Taking photos with a camera or device (basics to intermediate) Photographic composition (what makes a good photo) Digital image editing & manipulation (learners with previous imaging experience usually get through this quickly). More advanced imaging skills and techniques, such as layers, selections, composites & montages, etc. Due to the diverse learner abilities & skills that this course attracts, learners must already have very good computing skills, ie using a mouse & keyboard, saving files and navigating the Internet effectively. This course will particularly suit learners who have a flexible approach to learning and are self-directed and confident in a fast-paced workshop environment where people are at different levels, working on different projects
