This course is for anyone who wants to know how to make a quilt using a variety of patchwork and quilting techniques. The course will cover piecing, quilting and patchwork as well as how to choose materials, wadding and how to finish off your quilts, with or without embellishment.

Name: Patchwork Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision, Crafts, Creative Arts and Design Qualification type: Assessment The course is organised through a variety of projects which will cover all aspects of Patchwork and Quilting. Hand-stitching is done in class and items can be finished on the machine at home. There is some homework set but the amount done depends on the time available to individual students.
