VTCT Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF)

During the VTCT Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF), you will learn the roles and responsibilities expected of a first aider in the workplace and be able to assess, recognise and manage casualties with a range of symptoms. These include casualties who are unresponsive and breathing normally, unresponsive and not breathing normally, choking, in shock or suffering from external bleeding or minor injuries. In addition you will learn how to recognise and administer first aid for a range of illnesses and injuries to include suspected major illness, musculoskeletal injuries, head, spine and chest injuries, burns and scalds, eye injuries, poisoning and anaphylaxis.
