This workshop is ideal for beginners and those with some experience of sugarcraft and wish to develop their knowledge and skills to produce 6 decorative cupcakes using a vintage colour pallet to create rose buds, buttons, cake lace, pearls and bows. You will learn how to make perfectly flat and evenly baked cupcakes (cupcakes will be provided). How to core and fill each cupcake with raspberry preserve, make fluffy buttercream and apply to create a smooth flat top in readiness for decorating. Create a dome top using buttercream and sugarpaste. How to emboss a pattern on to sugarpaste to create different textures. Learn how to make and use cake lace. Make a variety of decorations (rose buds, buttons, pearls, topper disc and bows) using modelling paste and flower paste.
