Introduction to Bookkeeping

UPDATED 20170105 10:24:54

A short free introductory course looking at Bookkeeping and what it involves. Look at Recording receipts and payments in a cash book and then onto a computerised accounting package Sage 50. You will also look at calculating VAT and balancing the books. Finally reconcile the cash book with a bank statement so that you are fully aware of your financial position. A great course for those interested in a career in Bookkeeping and want a taster. There are follow-up courses in September if you are interested.
