Our Level 2 Diploma in Sport programme is aimed at individuals who are preparing to embark on a career in the sport and leisure industry. It is a one-year course which is designed to prepare you for work in a multitude of sport and leisure facilities and to give you the knowledge and skills to progress onto higher level programmes. On this course you will study a broad range of topics including Anatomy Technical & Tactical Skills Practical Sport Physical Preparation for Sport Factors Affecting Participation. This course will allow you to apply you studies focusing on your or for those with a general interest in sports the opportunity to cover a number of different practical and individual sports. This qualification will form part of a study programme which will include exclusive access to our Sports Academy and Enrichment programme Maths & English Tutorial support Work Experience and development of employability and study skills. Maths and English is a fundamental element of this study programme and skills in these areas will be embedded into your vocational learning. In addition if you do not have a grade C in Maths and/or English you will attend a discrete GCSE or Functional Skills class as part of your weekly timetable.
