This course is designed to develop work ready skills for you to start your career in the Beauty industry. To achieve NVQ Level 2 you will attend the academy for approximately 20 hours per week, from September to July. Your training will consist of practical, theory, portfolio building, evidence collection and personal tutorial sessions; these form the basis of your individual learning plan. Your practical training will take place in the commercial training salon. This is open to the public allowing you excellent opportunities to gain lots of salon experience and access to assessments. This is a Job ready qualification, meaning you will be employable at the end of your training.
