Name: Level 3 Diploma in Hair & Media Make-up Qualification title: Diploma in Theatrical, Special Effects, Hair and Media Make-up (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment This course consists of exams, and knowledge questions are completed throughout the course for each unit, as well as the completion of a portfolio of work by the end of the course. Students could be timetabled to attend an evening practical salon until 9pm, as well as 1 day in a placement. For each unit, students will be practically assessed where they can achieve pass, merit or distinction. Students will undergo an online assessment including multiple choice questions. Achievement is also based on the ability to achieve the appropriate level in practical skills and competences.
