Our rolling day and block release programmes will give students the knowledge, skills and behaviours so that they can assess occupational competence in an individual's work environment. It is part of a suite of qualifications which have been developed to replace the Assessor and Verifier Units (A1 and V1 awards). This qualification covers 2 mandatory units - Understanding the Principles and Practices of assessment and Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment. This qualification forms part of a full framework of qualifications for assessors and quality assurance personnel. Our classes are small so that all students can benefit from one-to-one support from our fully qualified trainers, who are also time served heating engineers. Our courses follow an approved learning plan but will be tailored to suit your specific needs. Support is also given to employers and mentors to help them to support their students whilst they are working on-site to ensure progress is made in a timely manner.
