C&G Award in Education and Training

UPDATED 20170103 13:42:05

You will learn the skills and knowledge that you need to teach others. This includes learning how to devise lessons plans, assess learners' progress, keep records, motivate adult learners and give effective feedback. You will also develop reflective and proactive planning skills to help you plan your future professional development. There are some written assignments, marked by your teachers and moderated by City & Guilds, to assess the knowledge and theory you have learned. The practical teaching skills you have developed will be assessed during a demonstration, involving a short teaching session, delivered to the other trainees in the class. You may also be eligible for support with your studies if you have a learning difficulty or disability. This support is free to UK residents.
