Develop your ideas by working on self-generated projects that are creatively challenging. Your tutor will encourage you to be open to new ideas and explore different techniques, with informed risk taking. For creative development there is the opportunity to discuss your work in individual or group situations, and experience tutor demonstrations covering making and decorative techniques. Explore and experiment in a new discipline, such as throwing, or hone your hand-building techniques by trying sculpting or making work for installations. There is a strong emphasis on sketchbook work and developing an individual, professional, ceramic design practice.
