If you are thinking about becoming a volunteer in your community, or may already be working as a volunteer in an organisation, this course will help develop your skills. It offers you the opportunity to explore volunteering, looking the commitment required and benefit from volunteering, and development of personal skills and knowledge needed to be a successful volunteer. The course leads to Level 1 NCFE Award in Volunteering which offers progression to further levels of study or to employment. Learners must attend a pre-course assessment session before enrolment is confirmed.
