Pottery & Claywork - An Introduction - Two Mornings

This course is aimed at those who would like to try a new and exciting skill. Learners will be introduced to the pottery and how to handle clay. On the first session learners will learn to hand build and will make a small pot using the slab technique method which will be bisque fired for glazing the second week. During the second session learners will also make a press moulded dish which will be fired and available for collection after approximately one week. All learners will be taught by demonstration, group and individual tuition and hands on experience. Health and safety issues will be covered.
