This course will encourage learners to explore a range of materials and techniques and by doing so to develop their skills. Learners will be shown the importance of learning to really closely observe, as well as getting a feel of the materials and equipment they use. Throughout the course you will work from sketchbook, photographs, found images or direct observation. There will be a life model (unclothed) available for two weeks. Learners will be encouraged to share their observations and discoveries with one another as part of the process.
