Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Advanced Apprenticeship at Level 3

All C&I apprentices spend their first 1.5 years of training within the Skills Academy C&I workshop producing a number of projects. These projects help to develop skills and knowledge in basic electronic theory, components, PLC's, control system, sensors, control devices and reporting. Throughout the apprenticeship there will be a variety of lectures to further fundamental theory knowledge; these may be delivered by the instructors or the apprentices themselves. Lectures cover: Component recognition Control and devices and sensorsCircuit calculations Fault finding techniques Once apprentices have achieved this phase, they will complete 1.5 years on site in various placements All practical training is completed in the AWE Skills Academy and via work placements within our business. Qualifications gained are National certificate
