About the CourseHatha Yoga is actually what most people would call yoga. This is a system of yoga pioneered in Indian by a 15th Century Yogic Sage named Yogi Swatmarama. Hatha Yoga is a system of yoga most popular in the world and is commonly practiced in the West.Aims of the Course:Introduce learners to Hatha Yoga. To enable learners to understand the principles of the different elements of yoga.To work within the learners own capabilities and give learners the confidence to practice at home. Learning Goals (by the end of the course you will be able to)· Perform a number of yoga postures to your own ability.· Practice yoga breathing and be aware of its uses.· Practice simple techniques of yoga meditation.For the first session you will need to buy/bring: · Yoga or exercise mat. · Wear suitable loose comfortable clothing· Bring a bottle of water
