Learning Goals· Demonstrate facial proportions and structure of the head through drawing.· Demonstrate basic drawing techniques mark-making tone and line.· Combine drawing techniques working from a photograph or using a mirror to create a self portrait.About the CourseThis workshop will introduce you to the basics of drawing using pencil graphite and charcoal. You will learn about facial proportions and explore drawing techniques. Concentrating on line mark-making and tone you will produce a range of quick drawings and longer studies. You can choose to work from photographs or use a mirror to create a self portrait.This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some drawing experience.Please feel free to bring a photograph you would like to work from and an apron.
