This unit is aimed at those who are working in health or social care with adults or children and young people in a wide range of settings. The unit introduces the concepts of equality, diversity and inclusion which are fundamental to such roles. This training can be delivered as part of employer’s induction for new staff members or refresher training for existing members of staff as it is reflective of Standard 4 on the Common Induction Standards (CIS) as directed by Skills for Care. This unit has been taken directly from the Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care qualification which is on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
