This programme is aimed at those students that wish to pursue one of the many career paths in the music industry. The music industry is one of the largest industries in the UK and is hugely important to the economy, employing thousands of people behind the scenes. Using the College's industry standard pro-audio equipment, specialist performance spaces and studios, you will learn to perform, compose, record, sequence and sample. The tutors, who themselves are professional musicians, producers and programmers, will guide you through the process of generating and realising your musical ideas. At the end of your course, you will undertake a major studio production project or live performance. Students have the option of choosing a Practice & Performance pathway or a Production Technology pathway. There are opportunities for collaboration with other creative arts courses such Performing Arts stage performances, Media projects and events photography.
