This programme is for students who wish to pursue a career in photography. On this course there is a strong emphasis on developing photographic skill using a range of camera types and lighting techniques, along with new digital technologies appropriate to photography. During the first year this course will cover a range of photographic subject areas including Studio Still Life, Portraiture, Advertising, Editorial, Newspaper and Technical Photography. In the second year of study there is an opportunity to specialise in a specific field of photography. You will also study design history, photographic theory, computer graphics and business studies.
