Awards in English Skills are refresher courses designed to help you improve your confidence and understanding of practical English skills for work and everyday life. Individual or multiple units can be done through the Ascentis Award scheme in spelling, punctuation and grammar, responding to information, speaking and listening, reading and writing at Entry Level 1 to Level 1. The two hour sessions are run on a weekly basis in various locations across Wirral. Functional Skills English is also available at Level 1 and 2 (two and a half hours per week).
