This course would suit both someone who is relatively new to painting and painters looking to expand their knowledge Some experience of painting will be beneficial but is not a requirement of the course. You should also be dexterous (able to hold and use equipment). You will explore using paint in the style of Gustav Klimt to create exciting figurative compositions. You will also learn how to complete a painting incorporating the ideas and methods discussed and demonstrated in class. Through demonstration and one-to-one tutoring you will undertake exercises and create at least one finished artwork Your work will be shown to your tutor who will advise you on progress and provide verbal and written feedback. None You can progress onto arts courses in a choice of subjects. Your tutor will be able to advise. You will need to bring the following to your first session: Flat palette Water pot Round headed brush - size 12 Flat brush Palette knife Acrylic painting paper Set of acrylic paints including gold Your tutor will advise you further on materials during the first session. Costs for materials for the duration of the course will be approximately £30 - £40 Composition Painting figures in the style of Gustav Klimt Producing a finished artwork
