Flowers with Watercolour

This course would suit both someone who is relatively new to painting and painters looking to expand their knowledge. Some experience of painting will be beneficial but is not a requirement of the course. You should also be dexterous (able to hold and use equipment). You will explore painting flowers using wet on dry and wet on wet techniques. You will also learn how to complete a painting incorporating the ideas and methods discussed and demonstrated in class. Through demonstration and one-to-one tutoring you will undertake exercises and create at least one finished artwork. Your work will be shown to your tutor who will advise you on progress and provide verbal and written feedback. None You can progress onto arts courses in a choice of subjects. Your tutor will be able to advise. You will need to bring the following to your first session: Watercolour palette Water pot Synthetic round headed brush (medium size) Synthetic flat brush (medium size) Watercolour paper Masking tape Set of half pan watercolour paints Your tutor will advise you further on materials during the first session.
