Italian Grammar for Intermediate and Advanced

Anyone who has successfully completed a minimum of 100 hours of the language and who would like to improve their reading, writing, speaking, listening of the language To be able to communicate reasonably confidently, in the language using at least three tenses and functional language with a reasonable degree of accuracy. This course will give you the opportunity to consolidate and develop your understanding of Italian grammar. There will be a particular focus on consolidating the most common tenses covered at improver's level and familiarise yourself with some of the more complex tenses and pronominal verbs . Through a combination of guided discovery using authentic and contemporary written texts from a range of sources as well as videos and films. By continual assessment - there is no examination for this course. At the end of the course you will receive a Newcastle City Learning Certificate. You could progress onto a further Advanced 2 course. Pen and Paper, you may also need a text book for this course and the tutor will inform you. Article and nouns • Verbs: different tenses from the indicative, conditional and subjunctive mood • Use of simple and compound preposition • Adverbs • Pronouns • Adjectives and pronouns.
