BSc(Hons) Land Management (Top Up)

This course is designed to enable you to evaluate and sustainably manage the pressures that now exist in the countryside. There are specialisms in agriculture and conservation. You will acquire a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of land management issues and specialising in either wildlife conservation or applied agriculture. Shared modules include Geographical Information Systems (GIS) agri-environmental grant aid for rural development and a research thesis. The conservation option targets ecological survey skills within consultancies habitat and species management and biological conservation. The agriculture option examines integrated farm management meat production and advanced agricultural sciences. You will complete an individual research project on a subject of your choice and agreed with your tutor.
