This is an ideal course for those who need computer skills for job-searching and updating a CV.Learn the basics and gain confidence in a friendly and informal setting. Learn internet skills to help search for jobs; email skills to help you apply for jobs and word processing skills to help you with your CVs and application letters. This course is tutor led throughout - you wont be left alone to work through a manual. What experience or skills do I need to join this course?This course is for beginners. What is the course about?- Using a computer safely- Confidence in using the keyboard and mouse- Producing simple documents- Using the Internet- Sending and replying to emails- Learning how to save your work- Printing out your work For the first session you will need: Pen and notepad Additional costs and/or resources: There are no additional costs How will I know how I am getting on?Your progress and achievements will be recognised and recorded throughout your course in a number of ways.For example:- Written and verbal feedback from your tutor- Practicing and completing exercises- Learning Record Accreditation: This is a non-accredited course.
