This course is a preparatory course for learners who wish to progress onto the VTCT level 3 in sports massage, injuries and enterprise. Throughout this qualification you will develop an underpinning knowledge of the key areas required to be a successful sports therapist such as anatomy, physiology and nutrition, and sports injuries and their management and rehabilitation. You will also develop practical skills in sports massage, health and fitness testing, basic taping and strapping, the application of hot and cold techniques and emergency first aid. The qualification gained will be Level 3 BTEC Subsidiary Diploma Year 1 (50067515).
