HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE BTEC 90 CREDIT DIPLOMA

UPDATED 20161221 11:34:24

There are two different pathways available to cater for your individual interests in Health and Social Care. Option 1 is a 1 year 90 Credit Diploma in Health and Social Care that is equivalent to 1.5 A-Levels. This course allows you to study and gain occupational competence whilst gaining relevant UCAS points in 1 academic year. It is possible for you to be selected onto the Extended Diploma in year 2 if you apply. Option 2 is a 2 year Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care that is equivalent to 3 A-Levels. This is a 2 year programme (but all students will start out on the 90 Credit Diploma). The Level 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care are nationally recognised qualifications that are suitable alternatives to A-levels. These programmes aim to equip learners with the skills, knowledge, attitude and values required to have a successful career in Health and Social Care.
