The primary objective of the Performing Manufacturing Operations Apprenticeship framework is to improve the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to improve industrial performance. The PMO apprenticeship aims to ensure that individuals have the “tools” they need to enable them to confidently and effectively contribute to: • Meeting regulatory requirements • Working effectively with colleagues • Analysing inspection results • Making products using controlled equipment • Moving materials within manufacturing • Preparing, carrying out and handing over manufacturing operations • Improving effectiveness • Producing and finishing products • Contributing to inspection and quality improvements
