This course is the study of language within literature and the strategies writers employ to achieve a specific purpose. You will study a range of fiction and non-fiction texts as well as considering both the written and spoken word. This course develops the skills necessary to identify and evaluate the linguistic choices of writers and speakers, as well as enabling you to reflect upon and refine your own skills as a writer.
