This is a 100 % conversation course aimed at confident Spanish speakers. Range of role plays at advanced level. Regular press reviews. Spanish and Latin American cinema. Short pieces of literature. Spanish songs. Traditions and customs. The course may also include a cinema outing.
Name: Spanish Conversation Qualification title: Non regulated provision, Level 2, Other Languages, Literature and Culture Qualification type: Assessment The course is organised over 25 weekly, 2 hour sessions. Groups vary from 10 to 15 students. Students can join the group at any time during the academic year subject to availability. Weekly research on various aspects of Spanish / Latin American culture and current affairs (internet, press) is expected. 1 to 2 hours of preparation work per week. This may include: online activities from a particular website, watching news on Spanish channels websites and summarise main events, reading extracts of Spanish daily & weekly press, preparing ideas for a debate.
