This is a shortcourse designed to give an introduction into the management of animals. The course is designed for people who wish to work in the animal management industry or who would like to progress to further learning/training in a related area. You will have a mixture of practical and theory sessions on the course. Practical sessions are taught on our excellent Animal Unit where we house over 100 different species of animals or in our wellequipped laboratories. You will also have an afternoon at Paignton Zoo where you will be taught in our purpose built classroom by a qualified zoo keeper. You will also have access to online resources to support your assignment work.
