The level 2 Children's Fitness Instructor certificate is available to individuals who wish to run health related exercise sessions for children and those who are already running such sessions without a formal qualification (you will require the Level 2 fitness instructor theory certificate/units). On completion you will be qualified to work as a health related exercise instructor for children aged 515 years in the community schools or leisure centres. You will learn through both theory and practical sessions taught by a team of highly qualified professional and experienced teachers trainers and assessors. .The units covered are:1. How to plan teach & evaluate a safe and effective health related exercise session for children2. How to adapt exercise for a child with specific needs and requirements 3. The generic induction standard for people working with children in an active leisure setting
