The Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport is a one year course which on successful completion students can continue onto the Extended Diploma. The Extended Diploma is the equivalent of three A-Levels. Units range from principles of anatomy and physiology in sport to fitness training and programming and from sports injuries to sports massage. On successful completion, students will be able to choose between two pathways for the Extended Diploma, either to further their knowledge in Development, Coaching and Fitness or to follow an alternate programme specialising in Sports Injuries and their treatment.

Assignments set will have an agreed hand in date that will need to be met in order to meet the awarding body guidelines. Some units will also need you to complete externally set and marked assessment material in addition to your portfolio work.
