This one year course provides you with the opportunity to study a wide range of music technology and production topics. You will be able to develop visual, technical and practical skills that enable you to progress to further study and music technology roles.. You will complete six units to enable you to learn about the music industry and to develop technical and design skills.

Name: L2 Music Technology Cert Qualification title: Certificate in Music Technology (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment This is a practical course with assessment throughout the year. You will produce a portfolio of work. At the end of the course, each unit grade counts towards overall achievement for the qualification. Students will be assessed by a combination of assignments, practical work, projects and tests set by the Course Team. Students will produce a portfolio of work which is assessed against the grading criteria for the units. Assignments set will have an agreed hand in date that will need to be met in order to meet the awarding body guidelines.
