Our BA (Hons) Musical Theatre provides a clear understanding of the Performing Arts, enabling you to pursue a lifelong career in the Arts industry. Much of the time you will be developing practical performance skills through structured classes, performance and experimentation. However, you will also be required to develop your analytical skills, which will help improve your understanding of the related roles within the Creative Industries. The training we offer draws on the professional experience of our academic team, with contributions from working performers and directors making this a truly inspiring course.

Name: Musical Theatre - BA Hons (Lancaster University) Qualification title: BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre Qualification type: Undergraduate qualification Assessment About All Level 4 modules are compulsory with some options in Level 5 and Level 6 in acting for film and television and in advanced singing techniques.Assessments for all performance modules are practical while written assessments cover one academic module per level. 90 credits practical / 30 credits written - per level. Assessment is continuous and measured against learning outcomes. It is monitored through class work, scene studies, workshops, performances and formal essays and journals.Feedback is provided in both formal and informal sessions and this forms an integral part of the learning process. Entry requirements

You will need a basic supply of black studio dancewear. These can be purchased from any supplier. You will be required to purchase a basic supply of 'blacks' dance wear. These are available from any supplier therefore costs may vary.
