This qualification is ideal for anyone considering setting up a business. You will explore the implications of working for yourself and start planning and preparing for the practical and personal challenges of launching a new business. You will understanding the process of setting up a business or self-employment, know the legal and regulatory requirements, get to grips with the financial aspects of starting your business and learn tools and techniques for developing your business idea. Further to this, you will learn how to set up and run a business legally, how to promote and sell your product or services, business finance including start-up costs, record-keeping & cash-flow and also developing and evaluating their business idea. The course will run for 6 days over 2 weeks and require some home study. Included in this course is two day's employability skills training, for searching and applying for jobs. You will receive expert guidance and have the opportunity to apply for jobs in relevant sectors.
