During this course you will develop your ideas through exploring a range of source material and producing some experimental preliminary studies. You will be expected to bring in images and examples that you are inspired by to inform the development of your work. You will be encouraged to look at composition and use of line, texture and colour and experiment before deciding on a painting or drawing that you will produce as a final project. During the course you will: Develop your ideas from chosen source material. Develop your own way of working and personal style through exploring different approaches. Consider different compositions and colour combinations, through preliminary sketches, before deciding on what your painting will look like. Produce your final painting or drawing project (you may produce several final outcomes depending on available time and how much you are able to do at home).
