The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives' Level 3 Professional Certificate in Law and Practice is a one year part-time course intended primarily for those who are employed by a full-time solicitor in private practice or in a legal department of a local authority. It can also be taken by anyone with a general interest in the law. Our Level 3 Certificate provides a broad introduction to law and legal practice and once you have gained the certificate, you can progress to the Level 3 Diploma. Once you have successfully completed the Level 3 Diploma, you can progress to the Level 6 course. The Level 6 qualification can lead to Fellowship of the Institute of Legal Executives, or enable a student to train to become a solicitor. Students who successfully complete year one of Level 3 but do not wish to progress to year two will gain a Certificate in Law and Practice (Conveyancing). We have start dates in Jan 2017 and September 2017
