The Futures Focus qualification supports individuals in developing the skills and attitudes valued by employers. The aim is to help individuals successfully prepare for and get a job, then to provide them with the tools to succeed and advance in their role.  The course has been designed with maximum flexibility so they can meet all learner requirements. You will be engaging in a variety of learning activities which will include developing self, confidence building and assertiveness, team leading, personal behaviour for success, interpersonal and thinking skills, team building and problem solving. The sessions will be both theory and practical based and designed for you to develop a number of skills whilst fully participating. The course is built from a number of units that will be achieved by the learners participating in several activity based sessions which they will plan, execute and review. There will be an element of self-directed study but support will be in place throughout the course to ensure that each learners achieve each element of the qualification they have worked towards. The course can address other areas such as; Career planning and making applications Effective communication Managing time in the workplace Managing personal finance Recognising employment opportunities Interview skills Searching for a job Working as part of a team And many more
