F899 - The Diploma in Art & Design (Creative Graphics and Media) is a one year course designed to introduce you to the skills needed to become a professional Graphic Designer. You learn to work on creative projects such as designing the idents of your favourite movie or TV programme, how to design the magazines and books you read, the websites of the coolest Fashion Brands, the flyers and posters promoting the club you go to and the promotional items for your sports team. All activities will be underpinned by a core of research, drawing, digital, and visualisation skills. The Course is equivalent to 1.5 A levels. The course is made up of practical and theory projects and workshops giving learners the opportunity to expand their horizons within the field of Graphic Design and Media. Assignments on the course vary in timescale depending on the nature of the project.
