The airport and airline industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the Travel and Tourism industry both locally and nationally. This qualification is designed forthose interested in a career within this exciting sector. The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma/Diploma will provide you with a generalintroductionto aviation and, with our help, you will learn the essential skills, knowledge and understanding required for you to work well as a member of airport or airlinestaff. You can choose to study this course over one yearleaving with a qualification equivalent to one A level, orover two years for a qualification equivalent totwo A levels. Entry requirements

As this is a vocational qualification, the mostimportant thing you will need is an interest in the aviation industry and progressing into employment within it. Whilst studying on courses within the Travel Tourism faculty, youwill be required to wear a uniform for the duration of the course and you must purchase thisbefore the course starts. The wearing of a uniform is a pre-requisite when working in the Aviation Industry so strict uniform standards are expected and enforced.Details of the specific uniform requirements will be given prior to the course start date. You will also be required to purchase a Columbus World Travel Atlas (or equivalent)to assist you with your studies (approximate cost 25.00).
