Investigating our history is essential after all, how can we understand the modern world without first understanding the past? The new AQA GCSE in History enables students to learn in depth about different aspects and eras of history, in particular why historic events still influence the present. As well as enabling you to widen your knowledge and understanding of the past, GCSE History will develop your ability to interpret sources, ask significant questions and research topics. In particular, you will begin to appreciate why historians interpret past events in different ways, which will enable you to gain new insights into the modern world.
