Animation for Creative Digital Media BTEC Foundation / Extended Diploma Level 3

This course is designed to develop your creative and technical knowledge of animation in creative digital media. Over two years, you will learn computer-based and traditional animation skills such as stop motion, 2D - 3D techniques and 3D modelling and environments. You are encouraged to develop your own vision and will be expected to generate ideas, scripts and storyboards to establish your own creative individuality. Some of the subjects within the course may include: Digital Media Skills Pre Production Portfolio Film Production Scriptwriting - Storyboarding for Digital Media 2D Animation 3D Digital Animation 3D Modelling - Environments Digital Games Production.Educational visits will also form an integral part of the curriculum. Dedicated sessions will investigate and defineHE pathways and progression during year 2. GCSE resits - functional skills are also embedded into your programme of study.
