Travel & Tourism BTEC Extended Certificate Level 2

The aims of the BTEC First Extended Certificate in Travel and Tourism is to:-Inspire and enthuse learners to consider a career in the travel and tourism sector-Give learners the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of, and develop skills in, the travel and tourism sector-Support progression into a more specialised level 3 vocational qualification such as the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National in Travel and Tourism, an academic course such as the GCE in Travel and Tourism, or a BTEC Apprenticeship in Travel Services- Give learners the potential opportunity, in due course, to enter employment within a wide range of job roles across the travel and tourism sector, for example in travel agencies, visitor attractions or accommodation.

Entry requirements

Stationery: one large A4 ring binder, one A4 course file, plastic wallets and dividers, pens, pencils, eraser, ruler, plain - lined paper and a USB stick.The tourism department prides itself on its reputation and professionalism in the area. This is evident in the way our students look around the college, and more importantly, whilst representing Dudley College at internal - external events and during work placements.There is a dress code package which is £75 (cost subject to change) and this would need to be paid at enrolment.
