Name: Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport Qualification title: - Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment To be awarded the Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport a student must achieve a minimum of 60 credits. The units covered include: Principles of Anatomy and Physiology in Sport; The Physiology of Fitness; Assessing Risk in Sport; Fitness Testing for Sport and Exercise; Fitness Training and Programming; Practical Team Sports; Psychology for Sports Performance; Sports Nutrition. To achieve the full BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport you will need to complete the 90 Credit Diploma in the first year and then top-up with a further 90 credits in the second year.
