This course has been designed for students who want to go to University to study courses that relate to Health professions; eg Adult or Childrens Nursing; Pediatory; Midwifery etc. It is an intensive course with an extensive workload and therefore will require committment and time outside of the course time for research and completing the assignments. If you would prefer to take the course over two years; then you may consider doing the Introduction to Access in year one and the Diploma in Year two. You will also need to have some work experience in the field that you want to go into; as this will be important when applying for UCAS at the beginning of your course. If this is your first Level 3 qualification - you may be entitled to some fee remission - please ask the Advice and Guidance team at the Podium. If you're aged 24 or over and take out a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan to fund your Access to HE Diploma; then go on to successfully complete your degree or subsequent higher education course; the Government will write off the loan that covered your Access course.
