Watercolours for all

During the course we will use a variety of sources such as other paintings and still life objects to explore the beautiful medium of watercolour. The course will be adapted to the level and interests of the students. Beginners will be shown some basic techniques and more experienced students will be able to work on their own projects with weekly 1:1 support from the tutor.

Entry requirements

You will need to provide your own materials. Please bring some watercolour paint, soft brushes and a watercolour pad and pencil to the first session. If you are new to watercolours you may wish to speak with the tutor before you purchase any materials. There will be some to borrow at the first session for a small fee. Will I need to do anything in my own time? No but the tutor may suggests artists or relevant videos for you to look up in the week to aid your understanding.
